王虹，女，主任医师、教授、博士研究生导师、医学博士。江苏省人民医院原院长、党委书记。兼任国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员、江苏省人民政府参事、省政协常委、省科协常委、中国医院协会医院文化专业委员会主任委员、中国老年医学会舒缓医学分会主任委员、江苏省医师协会副会长，省抗衰老学会理事长，省医学会健康管理学分会主任委员。享受国务院政府特殊津贴，获国家卫生计生委“突出贡献中青年专家”称号。长期从事老年医学、呼吸系统疾病的临床诊治、科研和教学工作。主持并完成国家科技重大专项子课题等课题近十项，获国家新药发明专利一项，曾获国家科技进步三等奖、江苏省科技进步一等奖等奖项十余项。在国内外有影响的著名期刊上发表论文百余篇，其中SCI收录第一作者及通讯作者数十篇，参编专著十余部（本）。先后担任《国际呼吸》等十多种专业期刊主编或编委。
